Terms of use
SteamPlayerBase shows Steam game stats, prices and releases, and lets members keep lists, a watchlist and a profile. It's free. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
Who can create an account
- You must be at least 13. In the EU and UK, if you're under 16 (or the lower age your country sets), you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
- One person per account. Keep your sign-in and your 10 words (if you use a Private vault) to yourself.
What you can post
Lists, names, usernames, bios, links and reviews you add are yours, and you're responsible for them. You let us show them on the site for as long as you keep them here. Don't post anything that:
- is illegal where you or we are, or links to illegal content;
- harasses, threatens or spreads hate about people or groups;
- pretends to be someone else, or shares someone's personal data without permission;
- is a scam, phishing, malware or spam;
- uses someone else's work without permission.
Reports and removals
- Anyone can report content with the Report link on lists and profiles, or at /report. We review every report and act quickly.
- If we remove or hide something of yours, or limit your account, we tell you what and why, and you can ask us to look again at [email protected].
- We may close accounts that keep breaking these rules.
- Contact point for users and authorities (EU Digital Services Act): [email protected]. We answer in English.
Steam data and other people's profiles
- Game data comes from public sources and may be late or wrong. Prices are a guide; the price at the store's checkout is the one that counts.
- Public Steam profiles can be looked up here by their link or ID. We show only what Steam makes public, read it live, and don't save it. A private Steam profile shows only its name and picture. If it's yours, you can claim it and make it private, or report it and we'll hide it.
- SteamPlayerBase isn't affiliated with Valve or Steam. Game names and art belong to their owners.
The service
- We provide the site โas isโ and may change or discontinue features. We aren't liable for losses from using it, except where the law doesn't allow that to be limited.
- You can delete your account any time in Privacy & security.
- If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll say so on the site first and update the date above.
