Changed a few things with the variant games. You can now change your opponent's names and peg colors from the play screen and we enabled self-counting on the variants as well.

Check out the "Learn" menu to see a whole new section on some common cribbage variants and then head on over to the discussions to tell me which one you want to see implemented into the game!
Mostly online play this time, plus a fix to the leaderboards. A few of these were costing people games they should have won, so those got dealt with first. Thank you to everyone who wrote in about it, and especially to the player who sent along their game log.…
When the store page went up I asked what people wanted from a PC cribbage game. lowball came back more than anything else. I started with the lessons. Learn > Variants already teaches the family: how the ghost card works, why a partner's crib is your crib, why…
There is a new door in the Puzzles menu today, and it is the biggest thing I have added to this game since launch. Cribbage Crossroads is a crossing-card puzzle. You get a five-by-five board with one card — the Anchor — already sitting on it, and sixteen cards…
Just Cribbage has always been the classic two-handed game. Six cards, the crib, peg to 31, first to 121, nothing bolted on. That is not changing, and it is not going to. But cribbage is a much older and much wider family than the version most of us grew up on.…
There is a thing that happens at a real cribbage table that a computer opponent can never give you. Someone else gets the same cards you did and does better with them, and you have to sit there and know that the difference was you, not the deck. That is what t…
Cribbage should feel like home, whatever language you think in. Just Cribbage is now fully localized in 25 languages — every menu, tutorial, coaching tip and play-by-play line, translated with care and with real cribbage terminology. All 25 supported languages…
We're close now. The build is done, it's in Steam's hands for review, and release is right around the corner. So while I wait, I want to tell you about the feature I built the whole game around. Not the coaching, not the tutorials. The one that answers the old…
That gap has bugged me for years. I've played cribbage my whole life, and the way you actually get better at this game is the way I learned: an older player watching over your shoulder, wincing when you toss a five into their crib, and telling you afterward wh…
Cribbage has a problem, and it's not the game itself. It's the vocabulary. Tell a new player there's a "crib," a "pone," a "starter," and something called "His Nobs," and watch their eyes glaze over before you've even dealt a card. I've been playing my whole l…
