The best Final Fantasy game of all time is now cheaper than ever
Final Fantasy 7 has Midgar, one of the greatest locations in RPG history, or maybe videogame history in its entirety. FFX is a wonderful story, Final Fantasy 9 has that terrific opening, and I wish they'd bring back the FF5 job system. But despite all of these…

Call me an empath, but something tells me that remaking Final Fantasy 7 as a trilogy of slick, high-budget modern games is taking its toll on poor Naoki Hamaguchi, the remake's director. In a recent chat with IGN , Hamaguchi and Final Fantasy 8 director Y…

Don’t expect a Final Fantasy 8 remake after FF7 Remake, director suggests - it’s simply too much work
The director of Final Fantasy 8 has shot down hopes that the next numbered Final Fantasy might see a remake once the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy comes to its conclusion. The reason? Simply that it’s a lot of damn work. Read more
